Here at The Writer’s Refuge, we love to share resources created by other writers. Last week, Sue opened the Writing Room with a prayer from The Rabbit Room’s book, Every Moment Holy, volume 2.
Today, we bring you an interview.
This summer, Katie had the opportunity to travel to the English countryside with Kimberly Coyle for a Retreat into Rest. One morning, as they lingered over tea in the cozy farmhouse kitchen, they talked about the writing life as writers tend to do. Kimberly shared that about a writing project she was wrapping up. Before she could finish describing it, Katie knew YOU needed to know what goodness Kimberly was creating.
Today, we finally get to share our conversation about creating a writer’s rhythm of life.

A Writer’s Rule of Life resource This downloadable PDF gently walks you through each step of creating your Writer’s Rule of Life. This may be just the thing you need to help you overcome the blocks we sometimes encounter in the writing life.

Enjoyed this conversation so much! I have not yet worked on my Writer’s Rule of Life but I know it will be such a help when I do.
Thank you. Thank you. This reminded me of Tuesday Teachings that another writing group used to have and I didn’t realize how much I missed it!! Appreciated being able to listen on my own time. Very encouraging…which as I wrote the word “encouraging” realized I had just asked for in a prayer - encouragement. Hope to see you Wednesday at TWR.
